And thus it starts...

Well, here is the modest beginings of our own little gallery. This is just to give you an idea of what I'm thinking about doing. As soon as more pics come my way I'll get those pages added to the site. I plan on doing a update to the page(s) about once a week (time permitting), most likely on the weekend.

For those of you who would rather keep your pics on your local site, this isn't a problem for me, I just need to know where to look for them from here. I'm still looking at the image size, we won't have many at 300-400k per. Optimum would be 100k or less, just to keep the load time to a minimum. If you don't have any way to change the compression of the jpeg's, post them and I'll do that for you. I'll not compress so much that the image quality is visibily degraded. Also I would recomend that the pics in the gallery not excede 800x600. Most people have a 15" moniter or smaller set for 640x480. Although, if the image needs to be one of the odd sizes that Bryce uses that's cool too.

If you want to copyright your pics, that's a good idea. Either add a visible lable on the image or use digimark from your favorite image processing ap.
